How booking works

Speaking is one of the two things that fund the rest

Laroye means “that which speaks for the sake of understanding.” Speaking sits in the events arm and, alongside consulting, pays for products that traditional investment walks past.

Consulting arm

Engagements

Data and AI work with researchers, government and industry. Tree-Ring AI came out of it.

Events arm

Speaking

Keynotes, panels and workshops, booked directly through Laroye AI. This page.

Product arm

What it funds

JOYfuel, and the work on socioeconomic wellbeing, education and sustainability.

Talks

Three talks, each built for a different room

45 to 60 minutes as a keynote, or expanded into a half-day workshop.

Innovation & industry

Shipping AI from a small market

Tree-Ring AI reads drought risk from 521 years of growth rings and beats four published reconstructions on their own protocols. Built in Regina, on a federal grant, with a university lab. What it took, what broke, and why the constraint helped.

Education, policy & parents

Kids, algorithms, and the case for filtration

Saskatchewan is debating a social media ban for under-16s. Two years of talking to parents, teachers and kids says a ban treats the symptom. A harder and more useful argument about who should hold the dial.

Founders, students & community

The 27-hour bus ride

A 27-hour coach from Regina to Vancouver to pitch at Web Summit, because the flight money never came. On building without the budget, the network or the postcode, and what actually moves.
